If your stove is venting smoke and combustibles directly into the chimney cavity, you'll need to install a Register Plate. The job of a register plate isn't merely for aesthetics.

A Register Plate will prevent smoke getting into the room. All Register Plates or sometimes called a Closer Plate are engineered to the highest standard, and are made of galvanised steel. The Register Plate comes as standard with holes drilled into the side pelmet, for easy fixing.

Simply drill into the side walls and push raw plugs through the holes, and screwing into the wall, sealing around the edge with a heat proof sealant.
